Information for parents  

Dear parents, if you’ve decided to educate your child at an institute or university in Ukraine, you definitely made the right choice. This country provides the high level of education with European standards and Bologna system. Most of the educational institutions available to foreign citizens are among the top 800 best universities in the world.

You can not be afraid of the language barrier, it will not be an obstacle to successful learning. All foreign students have mandatory training courses during 1 year. They can study Ukrainian language as well as the terminology that is needed for profile disciplines. Besides, some universities provide an opportunity to study in English.

Advantages of study in Ukraine 

The tuition fee in Ukrainian universities is much lower than in other EU or CIS countries. This fact attracts a lot of applicants. Foreign students can also receive the housing quota, which costs relatively inexpensive.

The country is agrarian and highly developed, that’s why you child can buy a lot of fruits and vegetables. Goods are generally cheap.

 Required documents 

Your child need to prepare some mandatory documents for admission in Ukraine. There are some of them:

• Original certificate approved by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
• Original birth certificate legalized by the Ministry
• Bank statement about the availability of funds on the account, which will cover at least 1 academic year
• Medical certificates confirming the absence of HIV and SID, dated not later than 2 months ago
• Original passport
• Medical insurance
• Some photos

A full medical examination in Ukraine is also needed. After that the applicant can supply his documents and pass the interview.

 Some extra advice 

When preparing your child abroad, make sure he has everything he need. There are a list of stuff you should give him:

• casual and weekend clothing
• necessary medicines
• documents
• packed lunch
• personal hygiene items
