Petro Chaykovskiy National music academy

  Petro Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine (NMAU) is unofficially named as theKyivConservatory. The Academy was founded in 1913, and now this educational state institution has the highest level ofthe accreditation. NMAU is located in the center of Kyiv with a very comfortable transport communication, that’s why it is very easy to get to it.
  The Academy is one of the oldest and prestige  higher educationinstitutions of music  in Ukraine. The Academy was based on the Kyiv music college, that was afterwards reorganized into the istitution of higher education.
   Today the Academy is the center of music education inUkraine.  More than thousand studentsare educating at the Academy. The Academy educates specialists that study on 5 faculties: Piano faculty, Orchestrafaculty, Folk instrumentsfaculty.Also there are  History and Theory faculty, Composersfaculty, on the base of whichforeign students are studying. The education for foreigners is provided inEnglish.
The Academy has close connections with foreign musiceducational istitutions and centers in France,the USA, China, Germany etc.
Studentsfrom other cities and foreign students get a dormitory, where they can live during all the educational cycle, exceptsummer vacations. The Opera Studio, library and Departmentof music instruments repairing  operate at the Academy.
