Odessa State Medical University

Odesa National Medical University (ONMedU) wasfounded in 1900. More than 9 thousand studentsget the education in the University, including foreigners. There are 7 faculties in ONMedU. They are: international, stomatological, pharmaceutical and threemedicalfaculties. Also the University includes the Faculty of postgraduating education. There are 48 clinicalbases in the University.
Students can get the education in the University on budgetary andcontract basis with the full-time form of educating. Moreover there are preparatory courses at ONMedU, where the duration of the course is around 7- 8 months, and the group can notbe more than 20 persons.

The University has four corps of dormitories, where students from other cities can stay. Also there were created necessary conditions for an active students’  leisure, as  there is sports complex, wherestudents can go for certainhobby classes and sections (teamsports, gymnastics, basket-ball, football, swimming, judo andmany other kinds), on the base of the University.  There is the Center of students creativity "VITA"at the University, where 30 different creative collectives work.
