National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya

National Pirogov Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsya (VNMU), was founded in 1921. There are twoforms ofthe educating in VNMU – full-time and in absentia. In general, there are 6 faculties. Two medicalfaculties,  stomatological and pharmaceuticalones are especially famous.

Every year almost 12 thousand students get their education at the University. The interns, master's degrees, postgraduate students, doctorates et ceteraare among the students. A general amount of  the students is over 6 thousand, and 2 thousandof them are foreigners.

There is the Research Center on the territory of the institution ofhigher education, including an experimental clinic, the Center ofinformation technologies, laboratories and library. Studentsfrom other cities live in the dormitories atthe University (5 corps). Moreover four dining-rooms and 7 cafeteriaswork in the campus.

Nearby the educational institution the Muslim Center is opened, as there is agreat number of students of the Islam confession.

Besides the qualified education, a good program  for leisure expects on students. There are 13 kinds of sports sections in the University.
