Kyiv National university of construction architecture

Kyiv National University of Constructing and Architecture(KNUCA) was founded in 1930. It is consideredto be the leading institution of higher education in Ukraine, which educates specialists for architect and construction  industry. The University hasgot the highest level of the accreditation.

About 11 thousand studentsare studying at the University, and every interestedperson can gain ascientific degree up to doctoral. Besides the Ukrainiancitizensthere are also foreigners at the University. Specially forforeigners there was opened a preparatory centre for entering the University. More than 500 foreignersare studying at KNUCA.
There are preparatory coursesat the University that are divided in dailycourses (7 months ofeducating), eveningcourses ( 3 - 7 months) and Saturdaycourses. Besides it is opened the centre ofpostgraduate education at the institution ofhigher education, includinga possibility of  training forthose, who arealreadyemployed inthe construction and architecture fields. 
Educating is provided in the following faculties that are verypopular allover Ukraine and out of its borders:  Architecture faculty, Construction faculty, Automation and information technology, City construction and territory planning, and others.Every year douzens of studentsare directed for getting a practice abroad.

There are 8 dormitorieson the territory of campus, where foreigners andstudents from other cities live. Also there are sportscomplex and swiming pool onthe territory ofthe  University. Also every year the competitionof "Miss and Mister of the University" takes placethere.
