Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

TarasShevchenko  National University of Kyiv (KNU) is the one of the largest and oldestuniversities of Ukraine. It was founded in 1834.  More than  26 thousand studentscan be educated at the University, and they can studyon 13 faculties and 8 institutes. Among faculties it ispossible to distinguish such as  Geology, History, Computer Systems and  Information TechnologiesFaculties.

Among  Institutes  it is distinguished the Institutes of Philology, Journalism, International Relations and  many others. All University entrants can complete the courses,  that have their place at KNU. Also in the University there is an Educational-Scientific Center "Institute of  biology and  medicine", on the base of which it is possible to get medical education. It is a novelty for KNU.
The University is located in the center of the capital of Ukraine and has a very comfortable transport communication.
KNU is included in ratings of popular universities of  the world and has close connections with foreign partners from 57 countries in the world. 

In 2017 it became the most popular in Ukraine among university enrollees. There are 20 comfort dormitories in a campus on the territory of the University. Also different hobby classes are accessible  for students, where they can spend their free time, for example,  Classes of Arabic Dance, Association of Students and Postgraduates, Theatre-Studio of  Indian Classic Dance and many others.
